8 day Drive in – Fly out

On the majority of our trips you are taken on game drive activities with local guides. We will match you up with a guide who is passionate about taking photographs and can set you and the vehicle the right way and encourage the best use of light. Maximize your photographic opportunities by letting us place you in the hands of a private driver/guide in a private vehicle for part of the safari or for the whole trip. Several camps and lodges offer a reduced rate for 7 nights.

Day 1— Arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, proceed through Immigration, collect your baggage and proceed through Customs. After exiting the Customs & Immigrations Hall, please look out for a uniformed Galloping Safaris Driver / Guide holding a Galloping Safaris Banner with your name or tour name on it. Your guide will assist you with your luggage and transfer you to the comfort of Impala Hotel.

Day 2— Arusha/Lake Manyara: – Drive to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, and flamingos. This afternoon, set out on our first wildlife safari. Kirurumu Tented Lodge (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day 3— Lake Manyara/Ngorongoro Crater: – After breakfast, set out to shoot images of Lake Manyara, one of a chain of Rift Valley lakes, and the wildlife that flocks to its shores. a morning safari around Lake Manyara. Visit a Masai village and continue to the Ngorongoro Crater. In the vibrant light of afternoon, shoot portraits of local Masai. Then get acquainted with this fascinating culture during a talk by a Masai chief. Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day 4 — Ngorongoro Crater: -Descend 2,000 feet to the base of the crater, where volcanic slopes shelter almost 30,000 animals. We may have the opportunity to photograph elephants, rhinos, buffalo, cheetahs, lions, hyenas, hippos, wildebeests, and much more of East Africa’s spectacular wildlife. Then capture views of the vast crater from above on a hike along its rim. Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day 5— Olduvai Gorge/Serengeti:-Drive to the Olduvai Gorge where, Louis and Mary Leakey discovered Homo habilis, regarded as one of the earliest members of the human genus. In 1999, Meave and Louise discovered a 3.5-million-year-old skull and partial jaw believed to belong to a new branch of early hominid. Continue to the central Serengeti, and on a late afternoon safari, catch a glimpse of the wildebeest migration. Overnight at Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day 6 —8 Serengeti:-Take advantage of the early morning light to photograph the savanna on a sunrise game drive. Then return to the lodge for breakfast and some time at leisure. In the afternoon, watch for wildlife as we travel through beautiful scenery on the way to our tented camp in the western Serengeti. Mbalageti Safari Camp.(B, L, D)

Day 7 — Serengeti:-This morning, enjoy a stunning new perspective as you soar over the plains on an optional hot-air balloon ride, followed by a champagne breakfast under the shade of an acacia tree. Then photograph the fascinating interplay of Serengeti’s legendary wildlife on an afternoon game drive. Look for herds of zebra or wildebeest eyeing a predator warily, and spot crocodiles as their snouts surface in the Grumeti River. . Mbalageti Safari Camp.(B, L, D).

Day 8 – Fly back to Arusha for your journey home
Your family’s amazing Africa tour concludes after a flight back to the city of Arusha, a guided tour of a local coffee plantation, and lunch at the Cultural Heritage Center in Arusha. Flights departing Africa leave late tonight; reserved for you at a hotel set in a tree-shaded coffee plantation overlooking Lake Duluti. Recount the week’s many adventures at dinner before transferring to the airport. Your safari ends in Arusha. A transfer is included from Lake Duluti Coffee lodge, Arusha to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
